Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store such as meat, bakery, produce and deli; also customer service and product flow experience is helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear direction.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root causes.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentors and coaches team members to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Manages staffing and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Ensures safety and Meijer standards in the area.
• Manages P&L, drives sales and controls shrink.
• Maintains store appearance and product presentation.
• Delivers Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings and conversations.
• Ensures training completion for all staff.
