Job summary

Northfield Park Racino is seeking an experienced dining services supervisor to oversee kitchen operations on a 6:00pm–3:00am shift, including weekends and holidays. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure sanitation while coordinating equipment and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and kitchen steward functions.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team and manage priorities.
• Experience with shift work including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned operational functions within the department per plan and budgets.
• Supervise staff including hiring, training, coaching, performance feedback and scheduling.
• Suggest ideas for new products, services, technology and process improvements.
• Inspect equipment and kitchen areas for cleanliness and sanitation.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper mechanical operation.
• Maintain inventory/records for dinnerware, flatware and glassware.
• Order china, glass, and silver as needed.
• Monitor dishwashing and storage solutions; requisition replacement equipment.
• Perform other duties as requested.
