Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician I for night shift in Burlington, MA. You will assist in decontamination, prep, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments under supervision.

This entry-level role requires attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to document steps accurately. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible non-BILH employees, with certification targets within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and converse in English to communicate effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination and cleaning of instrumentation and equipment per policies.
• Prep and packaging of instruments, assembly of trays, and labeling for sterilization.
• Operate and monitor sterilizers; perform routine biological monitoring and document results.
• Document tasks in instrument tracking system and communicate needs to CSP leadership.
• Assist with casebuilds and stock management; support department teammates as needed.
