Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in Sterile Processing and/or Instrumentation Room training helpful.
• Computer skills including Outlook/Excel/Word; ability to learn Cerner and IDX.

Responsibilities

• Process and package instruments and instrument sets for surgical procedures.
• Package and load items on carriage for sterilization.
• Store, issue and track equipment; includes delivery/pick up across departments.
• Operate, monitor and exchange the Detergent Management System.
• Operate SPD equipment safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve sterilizer issues.
• Test equipment and document per sterility guidelines.
• All other related duties as assigned.
