Job summary

Colorado Village Collaborative seeks a Site Assistant (Nights) in Denver to support safe, healing spaces at the Micro-Community site. You will work with the Site Coordinator and Manager to monitor activities, assist with programming, and uphold safety, cleanliness, and compliance through on-site shifts 9:30 pm–7:30 am.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, strong communication, and collaboration with staff and community members to connect people with resources and maintain a stable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Homeless shelter operations experience preferred.
• On-site night-shift availability required.
• Trauma-informed approach and de-escalation skills expected.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse populations required.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Comfort with logs, cleaning, safety protocols, and resource navigation.

Responsibilities

• Support MC operations and site upkeep.
• Monitor daily activities and document incidents.
• Assist with community member outreach and resource navigation.
• Support conflict management and crisis response with guidance.
• Prepare space for dinners and events; ensure supplies available.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the site.
