Job summary

Propark Mobility in New Haven, CT is seeking an Overnight Dispatcher to manage night shuttle operations, coordinate vehicle assignments, route planning, and incident response to ensure on-time performance.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• High School degree preferred.
• Your driver’s license must be valid for at least 2 years.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with manual or automatic transmission.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with staff and customers.
• Ability to resolve customer issues professionally and politely.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs shuttles, accountable based on assigned duties.
• Serves as central control for day-to-day vehicle communications, trip routing and emergency handling.
• Monitors shuttles for on-time performance, vehicle pullouts, and rider no-shows documentation.
• Meets with the Account Manager to review KPI goals and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Promotes teamwork and clear communication between dispatchers, supervisors and operators.
• Coordinates problem resolution among operators, supervisors and the public.
• Communicates clear directions over radio using established codes.
• Influences positive employee morale and quality customer service.
• Monitors operator sign-in/sign-out using CAD and routing tools.
• May be required to drive in service when needed.
• Documents service disruptions in the dispatch log.
• Ensures correct assignment of vehicles and operators.
