Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Springfield, MA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor responsible for supervising personnel receiving product, pulling orders, loading trucks for next-day delivery, and processing paperwork related to product delivery.

You will ensure accurate order fulfillment, proper stocking with FIFO, and compliance with safety programs while coordinating with the Warehouse Manager to optimize productivity on the shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 2-4 years of warehouse or related experience.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises administrative staff including hiring, scheduling, providing training and guidance, establishing job standards and evaluating performance.
• Ensures timely, accurate and complete order pulling and that all orders are loaded in proper sequence and paper-work is completed.
• Ensures received stock is stocked properly and FIFO procedures are followed for all stock rotation.
• Demonstrates a strong service quality ethic and ensures associates understand their roles in meeting customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning with Warehouse Manager and utilizes warehouse management systems to maximize productivity.
• Handles building security and ensures safe operation of all material handling; adheres to health and safety programs.
