Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a DOT file.

Responsibilities

• Performs trailer switches by hooking and moving a parked trailer between yard and doors.
• Communicates with management to coordinate trailer movements in the yard.
• Documents trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Follows yard switching safety processes and procedures.
• Loads and unloads packages onto/from delivery vehicles and carts.
• Lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages to handle workload.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
