Job summary

PPG Quality is seeking a on-site night-shift coordinator at our Huntsville/Madison, AL facility. The role oversees check-ins, attendance, onboarding for night starts, and acts as the primary on-site contact for night supervisors. This position requires fluent English and Spanish and the ability to manage incidents while maintaining meticulous records.

We offer a full-time schedule with a Monday–Friday 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. shift, potential for reduced hours, and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, staffing, or on-site coordination roles; shift experience is a plus.
• Maintains accurate records and documentation; proficient with spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Run night-shift check-in at 6:50 p.m. and track attendance/no-shows.
• Be the on-site point of contact for night-shift supervisors during turnover.
• Deliver evening orientation and onboarding for night-starts.
• Respond to incidents, injuries, and conflicts; document and escalate as needed.
• Provide weekly compliance data: attendance, roster, onboarding for evening/night shifts.
• Maintain shift handoff logs so mornings start current.
• Communicate in English and Spanish with workers, supervisors and candidates.
