Job summary

Vestas Windsor is seeking Production Team Members for 12-hour evening shifts (6pm-6am) to help fabricate wind turbine blades from fiberglass and other materials. You will operate equipment safely, follow work instructions, and assemble components to meet production targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, English communication skills, and relevant experience. The role offers benefits, paid time off, and potential for an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of work history in a fast-paced, physical environment, manufacturing preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic system skills—Microsoft Office, SAP and Apriso preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety.
• Assemble components per Work Instructions and fit parts to complete assemblies (bolts, screws, shafts, bearings).
• Meet production benchmarks by completing tasks within the designated timeframe.
• Lift, position, and move material as required.
• Read Work Process Instructions and translate into task execution.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
