Amrize is seeking a Wet End Operator to join our manufacturing team on the 3rd shift (overnight). This role operates and monitors the winder and wrapping table functions within a warehouse and factory environment.

You will adhere to safety policies, manage roll lengths, monitor quality, adjust machines, apply wrap, and collaborate with maintenance and foreman to keep production moving. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities to grow with Amrize North America.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent education.
• At least two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of machines and the production process is valuable.
• Strong communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to gather and record necessary information, follow through with tasks, and identify and correct problems in a timely manner.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Tolerance for repetitive work in a fast paced, high productive environment.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE.
• Monitor finished product roll lengths per product spec guide.
• Monitor product quality for defects.
• Report problems to foreman/supervisor.
• Make necessary machine adjustments for proper operation.
• Apply the wrap with correct date and color.
• Maintain glue system.
• Control production line speeds as required.
• Communicate issues with coater/press operator.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Assist maintenance when necessary.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Foreman or Supervisor.
• Assist with lacing of machine.
