Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Winder Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role operates the winder and wrapping table, ensuring correct roll lengths, color, and date labeling while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in manufacturing. You must be able to lift up to 75–100 pounds, follow procedures, and work well both independently and in teams. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer at least two years in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of production lines and safety practices is beneficial.
• Good communication and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Able to follow detailed instructions and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor winder and wrapping table functions.
• Adhere to safety policies and use PPE.
• Maintain finished product roll lengths per spec guide.
• Monitor product quality and report defects or issues.
• Make machine adjustments for proper operation.
• Apply wrap with correct date and color, maintain glue system.
• Control production line speeds and communicate issues to coater/press operator.
• Keep work area clean and safe; assist maintenance when needed.
• Support foreman or supervisor with additional tasks as required.
• Assist with lacing of machine.
