Qualifications

• Experience safely operating weaving machines.
• Ability to diagnose weaving defects and yarn breaks.
• Capable of repairing yarn breaks and creel filling.
• Read instructions and perform basic math calculations.
• Distinguish colors in stock-in-process and waste materials.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor weaving machines.
• Patrol looms for proper operation and identify issues.
• Repair warp and filling breaks as needed.
• Creel and fill yarn to maintain continuous operation.
• Inspect fabric quality using a black light for first-quality output.
• Flag looms requiring repair or maintenance.
• Follow all plant safety rules and regulations.
• Identify and correct defects in the weaving process.
• Perform routine yarn break repairs in any location.
• Work safely around moving machines and equipment.
