Job summary

Milliken & Company is seeking a weaving operator to cycle and monitor looms, inspect fabric for defects, and apply corrective actions to keep production flowing. You will follow safety rules, wear PPE, and maintain orderly work areas in a manufacturing setting in the United States.

Candidates should be able to read and write, perform basic math, and use simple computer tools for records and checks. This role involves routine machine operation and quality checks on textile materials.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write.
• Must have basic math and computer skills.
• Follow all Safety Rules and PPE usage as required.

Responsibilities

• Cycle assigned weaving machines and inspect woven cloth for defects.
• Take corrective action to address stoppages and quality issues.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of the work area.
• Record findings on the inspection form using the provided templates.
• Complete the Weaver DTM Checklist Daily.
• Report problems affecting quality or performance to supervision.
