Job summary

Great Lakes Wine and Spirits is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead night shift operations at our Detroit area depot. You will oversee daily tasks, coordinate with managers, monitor safety, and ensure accurate inventory and workflow from receiving to shipping.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse environments (food/bev preferred), 2-3 years in lead or supervisory roles, and proficiency with warehouse management systems. Competitive benefits and strong growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years in a warehouse lead or supervisor role using a warehouse management system is required.
• 5 years of experience sorting and picking or production in a warehouse distribution center (food/beverage preferred) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance by assisting and covering fellow managers and supervisors with daily assignments, considering volume, call-offs, and training needs.
• Maintain safety and security guidelines; ensure cleanliness, PPE compliance, and safe equipment operation.
• Open/close/reset work areas per protocol; audit drops zones for correct handling; identify and fix issues during shifts.
