Midwich Group seeks a Warehouse Lead for the Night Shift in Michigan City, IN. You will lead the evening operation, ensure orders are processed accurately, and coach team members to work efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities include directing night activities, maintaining workflow, supervising inventory tasks, and ensuring a secure, organized warehouse environment. This hands‑on leadership role rewards reliability and problem solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, or material-handling experience required.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and effectively use warehouse systems and technology.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety and operating procedures.
• Must be able to become certified and maintain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse employees during the night shift.
• Assign work and prioritize daily warehouse activities.
• Monitor workflow to ensure orders, shipments, and priorities are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide hands-on assistance with picking, packing, receiving, loading, unloading, and inventory activities.
• Ensure products are handled carefully and warehouse procedures are followed.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, attendance, and overall performance of team.
• Provide coaching and direction to employees as needed.
• Communicate updates and needs to warehouse management.
• Help troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Complete shift handoffs to incoming team.
• Prepare warehouse for next business day.
