Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead associates, drive productivity, and use data-driven decisions to optimize Pilot warehouse locations. The role involves hands-on management, training, and performance reviews to maintain high standards.

You will oversee security, safety, and operational policies while coordinating with teams to ensure accurate dock checks, proper labeling, and timely loading/unloading of freight. Weekend hours are typical.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is a plus; 3+ years experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Implement security and safety improvements that benefit the company’s assets, visitors, tenants and employees.
• Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Work variable hours, including weekends.
• Utilize RF scanners and logistics software to improve inventory accuracy and productivity.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and handle work-related injuries when needed.
• Foster a cooperative working climate to maximize morale and efficiency.
• Oversee loading and unloading of trucks and correct freight labeling.
• Note damages and shortages; perform dock checks for customer service.
• Clean and sanitize after shifts; provide accurate end-of-shift dock scans.
