Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring for a Night Shift Warehouse Order Selector in Virginia. The role involves selecting cases and containers from multi-level warehouse storage, loading pallets, and preparing orders for shipment.

Evening shifts are Sun–Thu, 5:30pm until finish, with pay starting at $22/hr and a potential raise up to $37/hr in the first year based on performance. Employees receive competitive pay and benefits from day one, with opportunities for growth and a safe, inclusive work

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly.
• Ability to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs (location dependent).
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period.
• Ability to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Review schedule and prepare supplies for operations.
• Meet required productivity and accuracy standards.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and locate products on racks.
• Move completed orders to shipping dock staging area and wrap if needed.
• Secure equipment and complete necessary paperwork at shift end.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
