Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Springfield, MO is hiring a Warehouse Order Selector to pick cases and containers from multi-level racks. You will load, wrap, label and stage orders for shipment using an electric pallet jack or forklift, while following safety procedures.

The role requires standing, walking, lifting heavy items, and working in dry, cooler or freezer environments. Training is provided; overtime may be required, and a post-offer drug test is required.

Qualifications

• Able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in dry, cooler and freezer environments.
• Able to pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Able to become EPJ certified during new-hire training.
• Able to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers to fill customer orders from warehouse racks.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and move to loading dock staging area.
• Shrink-wrap pallets for staging and ensure timely shipment.
• Operate electric pallet jack/forklift and maintain safety standards.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and wear PPE as required.
• Rotate batteries and inspect/record vehicle conditions at shift end.
• Complete required paperwork and assist other duties as needed.
• Adhere to productivity and accuracy standards per location.
