Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations at our Florence, KY location.

You will oversee warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, manage daily freight schedules, and ensure accurate receiving and shipping processes. The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of previous supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills with Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment and communicate repairs to management
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment use and enforce safety programs
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures
• Handle disciplinary actions and maintain productive labor climate
• Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient operations and timely data entry
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control
• Oversee Storage Buy Audit COP and product counting/inspection
• Ensure proper inventory rotation and space optimization
• Perform other related duties as directed by management
