Job summary

Floor & Decor is looking for an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct the warehouse operations of each retail store, supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and managing daily freight schedules based on customer and inventory needs.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution setting, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons while ensuring safety and

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse/distribution.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments in the company.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Proficient in basic math calculations.
• Strong computer skills, Windows-based systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Able to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping/receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, inventory control).
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Lead warehouse safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Ensure associates follow standard operating procedures.
• Manage disciplinary process and labor climate in warehouse.
• Handle employee inquiries and coordinate with other departments.
• Prepare Activity Reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipments, invoices, packing slips.
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Oversee inventory rotation and space optimization.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
