Job summary

fairlife, LLC in Webster, NY is hiring a Packaging Operator to run and troubleshoot sleeving, case packing, and palletizing lines. You will ensure products meet specs, make minor adjustments, clear jams, and prepare for cleaning.

You must follow GMP and food safety rules, report to a Packaging Supervisor, and work a 12-hour night shift on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with a $2/hour differential. A sign-on bonus is offered along with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math and reasoning skills required.
• Ability to operate equipment after training.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and escalate as needed.
• Comply with safety procedures and GMP.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, GMP, and food safety rules.
• Report to Packaging Supervisors.
• Operate and adjust packaging equipment to ensure accurate, defect-free packaging.
• Monitor machine operations for quality and adherence to procedures.
• Inspect products and resolve jams; escalate issues when needed.
• Feed materials to packaging lines and prepare equipment for cleaning.
• Assist in training new personnel and other duties as assigned.
