Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Loader, Non-Formula to join our warehouse team in Mount Pleasant, PA. You will transport items into trailers using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand, and prepare pallets for shipping with attention to safety and quality standards.

The role runs Sunday–Thursday, 5:00pm–2:30am, with a pay of $26.13 per hour. Benefits begin Day 1, plus uniforms and a safety boot voucher, plus opportunities for advancement in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack and/or pull products from shelves weighing 10-90 lbs depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct stop sequence.
• Moves outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift.
• Wraps pallets with cellophane and secures loads with proper labeling.
• Selects trailer slots and secures loads upon completion.
• Removes empty pallets and packing materials to proper areas.
• Inspects pallets and moves them to storage as needed.
• Performs housekeeping and maintains a clean work area.
• Follows safety policies and reports unsafe conditions.
• Keeps PPE and safety gear on and ready.
• Completes end-of-shift paperwork and vehicle inspection checklist.
