Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is hiring for a Tower Loader to move pallets and load trailers in a fast-paced warehouse. Starting rate is $19/hr with potential to earn $25+/hr after training. Full-time, 3rd shift; schedule includes Sunday through multiple weekdays at 6pm until done, with overtime as required.

Location: York, PA. Responsibilities include loading pallets, operating forklifts, inspecting trailers, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Experience loading with forklifts, electric pallet jack, etc.
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures.
• Team-oriented outlook with a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensure damage is avoided.
• Utilize forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise.
• Inspect trailers for damage before loading.
• Verify loading of pallets with RF handhelds or voice systems.
• Wrap pallets with stretch wrap.
• Maintain fast pace to prevent truck backlog.
• Perform equipment inspections and complete forms.
• Safely lift varying weights as needed.
• Keep the work area clean.
