Job summary

Martin's Famous Potato Rolls and Bread is seeking a Warehouse Associate to organize and maintain the daily operation of the company warehouse in Pittsburgh. You will coordinate with Sales Manager and route personnel to ensure timely loading and accurate orders.

The role offers hourly pay of $19–$22, based on experience, with a $3 shift differential for night hours, weekly pay, and benefits including health insurance and 401K profit sharing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or
• One to three months' related experience and/or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Pallet jack experience is required to perform daily warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Break down and organize loads for Route Sales employees or external Distributors to be picked up at warehouse.
• Notify sales office of order discrepancies and needed changes.
• Obtain complete orders for review by the Sales Manager.
• Dispatch orders to the sales office according to established time standards.
• Maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion and keep pallets clear.
• Maintain inventory of display bins, signs, shelf talkers, racks, route books, and warehouse supplies.
• Weigh and record stale product using pallet jack scale and enter weight in the tracking system.
• Advise team on work matters to keep communication open within the distribution network.
• Assist Sales Manager at store resets and checks as needed.
• Adhere to safety, food safety, quality, and GMP regulations.
