Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Night Warehouse Supervisor for our Denver operation. You will oversee nightly activities including order selection, replenishment, and loading, while directing warehouse staff to meet safety and efficiency goals.

You will manage labor hours, schedules, and asset use, ensuring compliance with HAACP, OSHA, FDA, and other regulations. This is an on-site role requiring strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 1–3 years related supervisory or warehouse experience.
• Powered Industrial Equipment certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nightly work and safety of employees engaged in order selection, product replenishment, and loading, including night forklift operators.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepare work schedules including extra shifts as needed.
• Administer proper utilization of company assets in support of the warehouse.
• Coordinate required repairs with proper departments as necessary.
• Review night warehouse productivity reports and suggest efficiency ideas and cost reductions.
• Audit shipping and loading daily ensuring documentation (HAACP, food safety, catch-weight) is accurate.
• Assist training of new associates and cross-training of existing staff.
• Maintain associate relations and regular pre-shift meetings.
• Keep open communication with associates and explain policies.
• Monitor morale and respond to ideas to improve engagement.
• Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
• Coordinate with Safety to conduct training, observations, and safety inspections.
• Make recommendations for disciplinary action where required.
• Perform staff selection, development, and performance reviews.
• Comply with OSHA, AIB, FDA, USDA, and other regulations.
