Job summary

Scholastic in West Chester, OH seeks a Warehouse Lead / Lift Operator to supervise a small team during 3:30 pm–12:00 am shifts. You will ensure daily start-ups, train staff, and maintain Labor Data Cards while driving efficiency and safety in a non-air conditioned warehouse.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, forklift familiarity, and strong English communication. Eligible benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, and merchandise discounts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Stand-Up lift experience (Hi-Lo, Cherry Picker).
• Ability to demonstrate scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Team player capable of working with co-workers.
• Good verbal/written communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions in English.
• Forklift experience is a plus; must be at least 18 if certified.

Responsibilities

• Train associates on Product Coordinator tasks and lead the team.
• Direct a small team in one or more facility functions.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate the warehouse team and act as trainer.
• Lead daily start-up meetings and coordinate labor data collection.
• Drive continuous process improvement across warehouse functions.
• Monitor supplies and safety; report unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
• May operate motorized pallet jacks after training; maintain a safe work environment.
