Job summary

Scholastic is seeking a Warehouse Cherry Picker/Stand-Up Forklift Operator for our West Chester, OH facility. This full-time, second-shift role runs 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday–Friday, with a shift premium after 2:00 PM.

You will operate battery/gas-powered equipment, move inventory, maintain accuracy, and follow safety rules. The role includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, and a 50% discount on Scholastic merchandise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be trained and licensed to operate power equipment.
• Minimum 1 year power equipment operation experience for non-internal promotions.
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency with minimal errors.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and stand-up lifts to move inventory safely.
• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts as needed.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks and organizing the workstation.
• Support seasonal inventory resets and stock replenishment tasks.
