Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is seeking a Warehouse Agent Lead to manage cargo handling for import and export operations at our Connecticut location. Responsibilities include safety adherence, loading/unloading cargo, verifying documentation, and coordinating with supervisors for equipment and materials.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age if operating cargo equipment.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules and report any safety concerns immediately.
• Move cargo within warehouse and facilities as required.
• Check documentation for priority or special handling requirements.
• Unload and verify receipt of cargo; document deviations.
• Inventory import cargo and generate export post-flight on-hand lists.
• Load export cargo and secure freight for shipment; ensure carrier compatibility.
• Maintain housekeeping in warehouse and ramp areas and report equipment issues.
• Operate forklift after certification and perform equipment inspections.
• Comply with TSA and US CBP regulations and maintain security.
