Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Night Shift Production Manager to lead fab operations and ensure safe, efficient semiconductor wafer production on the night shift. You will supervise the night team and coordinate with Fabrication Specialists, Equipment Technicians, Facilities Staff, and Engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a union direct labor environment preferred.
• Semiconductor wafer fab experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of operations management: capacity, headcount management, lean manufacturing/continuous improvement, production scheduling.
• Ability to foster a professional work environment that instills trust and confidence among reports, peers and supporting organizations.
• Demonstrated experience using computers in the factory environment for automation, analysis and communication including email, web applications and Microsoft Office; good knowledge of Excel.
• Ability and willingness to alter schedule as needed in support of training, coverage and off-shift meetings.
