Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Technician to perform wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices. You will operate equipment for alignment, masking, etch, deposition, testing and diffusion, and help optimize workflow on the D-shift night schedule.

You will document results, comply with clean room protocols and PPE, and work with engineering to test and refine processes, training teammates as needed and ensuring safety and quality throughout the line.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and writing tasks.
• Effective communication, including speaking, writing and listening.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small components.
• Ability to understand directions and follow established procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Lifting, handling and reaching to use tools up to 20 pounds.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Dependable team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform wafer fabrication by following work instructions and documented procedures.
• Operate equipment to perform stages of wafer fabrication.
• Measure and analyze critical parameters and record data.
• Adhere to clean room protocol and wear PPE.
• Maintain documentation and records.
• Move materials or finished goods; may involve lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Visually inspect quality and identify defects.
• Handle fragile wafers and precious metals.
• Mix wet chemistries and collect data in computer systems.
