Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Veterinary Medical Laboratory Technician to join our NORTH GRAFTON, MA on-site labs, performing diagnostic tests and analyses to support veterinarians and pet care teams.

This full-time role offers comprehensive training, day-one benefits, and opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent with preferred science background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; science-related degree preferred.
• Ability to work alternate/3rd shift (overnight) is required.
• 3rd shift with attendance/punctuality essential.
• Experience with veterinary clinical samples and PPE usage is expected; lab work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses and tests using automated analyzers, microscopes, and other lab tools to diagnose animal illnesses.
• Run and read diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, or biopsy samples received daily.
• Set up, run, and read lab tests; release results according to SOPs.
• Specialize in a department (Parasitology, Hematology, Serology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Cytology) as needed.
