IDEXX in Manchester, MO is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform diagnostic lab tests that support veterinarians in diagnosing and treating pets. You will operate automated analyzers, microscopes, and other lab equipment, setting up tests and releasing results according to SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; science degree preferred.
• Veterinary Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician background is a plus.
• Experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests with lab equipment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to meet physical requirements for lab work.

Responsibilities

• Use automated analyzers, microscopes and diagnostic tools to analyze samples.
• Perform tests on blood, urine, fecal or biopsy samples and release results per SOPs.
• Set up and run lab tests and read results in assigned department.
