Job summary

Neel Veterinary Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a compassionate Swing/Overnight Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This role focuses on delivering excellent client service during evening and overnight hours in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

You will handle phones, appointments, medical history, assist doctors, input data, and process payments, while maintaining calm professionalism during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary receptionist or client service experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology is preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and veterinary practice management software.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate during emergencies.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Must be available to work swing and/or overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
• Process invoices payments
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
• Determine the status of the patient’s immunizations and tests
• Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient’s arrival and necessary treatments
• Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
• Accurately input data into computer software
