Job summary

City of Hope seeks a Paraprofessional caregiver for the 1900–0700 night shift. You support nurses, manage the nursing desk, and coordinate daily activities and orders to assist patient care. Must have a high school diploma and healthcare exposure; EMT/CNA/PCT licenses are preferred with BLS mandated within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months healthcare-related experience, or active EMT/second-year nursing student.
• PCT certification, CNA license, or EMT license preferred.
• Current BLS required; AHA certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Phlebotomy training and IV insertion certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and manages activity at the nursing desk to support patient care.
• Ensures accurate and timely order entry and coordination of the multidisciplinary team.
• Supports nursing process and daily living activities under RN supervision.
