Eventide Crete Senior Living in Crete, NE is seeking a Universal Worker II (Med Aide) to work 10p-6a with weekend and holiday rotation. You will provide direct care, assist with daily living activities, and support the nursing team under supervision.

The role emphasizes compassionate interaction and adherence to care plans. Qualifications include NE CNA and MA-40 certification in good standing, CPR if MA-40, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English including medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transfers, continence).
• Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments and adjusts to meet changing needs.
• Complies with HIPAA and protects PHI.
• Performs meals prep and service; assists with dining room cleanup.
• May prepare and administer medications under RN direction (MA-40).
• Responds to emergencies and performs CPR when trained.
