Job summary

Eventide Williamsburg in Lincoln, NE seeks a Certified Medication Aid (MA40) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time night shift (6 p.m. – 6 a.m.) with weekend and holiday rotation.

The role supports seniors’ daily living activities and adheres to care plans, with HIPAA privacy compliance. Ideal candidates hold NE CNA and MA40 certifications in good standing, with at least 6 months caregiving experience, and high school education or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English including medical terminology.
• Minimum 6 months experience as aide or caregiver preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA and Med Aide 40-hour certification in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring).
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Submit documentation according to department protocol.
• Prioritize and adjust tasks to meet changing needs during shift.
• Follow care plan and ensure PHI privacy per HIPAA.
• Prepare, plate and serve meals and snacks for residents.
• Assist with dining area cleanup and laundry as needed.
• Administer medications under RN direction when MA40 is utilized.
