Job summary

Eventide Crete Senior Living in Crete, NE is seeking a Universal Worker II (Med Aide) to work 2p-10p with weekend/holiday rotation. The role supports seniors through daily living tasks, meals, and care activities in compliance with the care plan while safeguarding privacy.

Ideal candidate has CNA and MA-40 credentials, at least 6 months caregiver experience, and high school diploma preferred. Compensation starts at $17–$19.04 per hour, with shift premiums where applicable.

Qualifications

• CNA and MA-40 certification required or in good standing.
• Minimum 6 months experience as aide or caregiver preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transfers, continence).
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Follow department protocol for documentation and maintain PHI privacy per HIPAA.
• Prioritize assignments and adjust to changing needs throughout shift.
• Prepare and serve meals and assist with dining room cleanup; assist with housekeeping and laundry as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments under RN direction if MA-40 utilized; respond to emergencies including CPR when trained.
