Job summary

Pratt in Rockwall, TX seeks a dependable unitizer operator for 3rd shift. Responsibilities include operating the unitizer and related equipment, setting up, cleaning, and ensuring proper packaging and labeling.

You will load and secure units, scan barcodes, maintain production records, and help optimize schedules. Forklift experience preferred; weekend work may be required; compensation starts at $19/hr with shift differential.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience as a forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Operate the unitizer and related equipment with proper setup and safety.
• Place bands, stretchwrap, unit tags and cover sheets accurately.
• Scan barcodes on units through the unitizer.
• Maintain proper unit quantities and remove excess scrap.
• Operate forklift safely when required.
• Submit production, machine status, safety and quality reports.
• Adhere to production schedule and suggest improvements.
• Report scheduling issues to supervisor.
• Follow safety and housekeeping policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
