Job summary

Pratt Industries in Rockwall, TX is seeking a full-time forklift operator to safely operate the unitizer and related equipment on 2nd shift (3:30 pm – 11:30 pm). You will set up, operate, clean, and help improve production processes while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably forklift operator experience; lifting up to 100 pounds and ability to work weekends if needed are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Able to read and interpret production data and measurements.
• Experience with forklift operation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the unitizer and related equipment per setup techniques.
• Ensure proper placement of unit tags and cover sheets and correct stacking patterns.
• Scan barcodes on units going through unitizer.
• Make neat units with proper number of bands on each unit.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at available capacity and speed.
• Complete reports accurately, including Production Data and Quality Data.
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards.
