Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging in Dallas, TX is seeking a 3rd shift forklift operator to safely move raw materials and finished goods, tag products, and keep the warehouse organized. The role requires forklift certification, English proficiency, and the ability to work a 12‑hour shift with overtime.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, operating SAP, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a dynamic warehouse environment. The starting rate is $23.20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; some post-secondary education preferred (technical or vocational).
• Forklift certification and prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2 years of forklift experience required; sit-down forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; basic math and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Abides by Amcor's Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
• Operate a sit-down forklift for extended periods safely and proficiently.
• Supply necessary raw materials to production as needed.
• Move finished goods, tag production tickets, and store pallets correctly.
• Operate SAP to tag finished product and track material needs.
• Stack finished product neatly in the warehouse and maintain order.
• Be flexible and able to work any shift, with overtime as required.
• Commit to working safely in a tight production area with required PPE.
