Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a part-time Patient Access / Unit Clerk to greet and register critical and trauma patients, answer calls, and coordinate admissions in a fast-paced ED environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (associates preferred) and offers benefits eligible with night shifts (7p-7a) and a rotating weekend/holiday schedule. Base pay is $20.50/hr plus shift differentials.

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers critical and trauma patients.
• Answers calls, schedules appointments, and facilitates unit communication.
• Coordinates admissions paperwork and contacts on-call providers.
• Assists in shadowing and precepting new employees.
• Orders supplies and maintains unit stock.
• Answers internal and external phone calls with accurate follow-up.
