Job summary

Lexington Health is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for the Emergency Department night shift in Columbia, SC. You will operate sonographic equipment independently and support radiologists with invasive procedures in acute care. The position is full-time with a night schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

The role requires RDMS certification or eligibility, BLS, CME compliance, and possible RDMS within one year. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• BLS certification or certification within 3 months of employment.
• Current CME requirements for specialty(ies) as appropriate.
• RDMS certification required; if not held at hire, must obtain within 1 year; registry eligible per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally appropriate care and perform ultrasound exams.
• Communicate results to radiologists and assist with invasive procedures.
• Ensure safety and well-being of patients in the sonographic area.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and department supplies.
• Collaborate with health care team to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to Service Expectations and Code of Conduct.
• Support department accreditation maintenance.
