Job summary

Lexington Health Northeast Emergency Department is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for the Day Shift (7:00am - 7:00pm). The role includes independent operation of sonographic equipment, performing diagnostic exams, and assisting Radiology with invasive procedures in an acute care setting.

A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is available; new location coming Spring 2027. The department prioritizes patient-centered care, safety, and effective communication with a diverse patient population, including

Qualifications

• RDMS certification or registry eligibility; CME requirements for specialty areas as appropriate.
• BL S certification or certification within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operates sonographic equipment independently and performs diagnostic exams.
• Communicates results to Radiologist and assists with invasive procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort across pediatric to geriatric populations.
• Coordinates with care team to ensure efficient departmental workflow.
