Job summary

Lexington Health Northeast Emergency Department is seeking a CT Technologist for the Emergency Department Night Shift (7:00pm–7:00am). This full-time position includes a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 and requires certification in CT from ARRT and SC license eligibility.

The new location is slated for Spring 2027 in West Columbia, SC. Responsibilities include performing CT scans, assisting radiologists with biopsies and drainages, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine.
• Substitutable Education & Experience: Military training may be assessed as substitute toward educational requirement.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence to provide developmentally appropriate care/treatment for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Observes patient condition in CT Department and notifies appropriate personnel as needed.
• Prepares patients for CT procedures and uses universal precautions.
• Provides pertinent information to radiologist to contribute to plan of care.
• Obtains signatures for consent forms as needed.
• Obtains optimum quality CT scans with proper windows and measurements for radiologist interpretation.
• Performs required duties as assigned during emergencies and maintains service excellence.

Education

AMA approved Radiologic Technology/ Radiation Therapy/ Nuclear Medicine

Post Primary CT certification (ARRT)

SC Radiologic Quality Standards license

Military training substituted education/experience
