Job summary

Lexington Health Northeast Emergency Department in Columbia, SC, is seeking a C.T. Technologist for the Day Shift (7:00am–7:00pm) in the Emergency Department. This full-time position includes performing CT exams and related procedures to support acute patient care.

The role requires ARRT post-primary CT certification and SC Radiation Quality Standards license; sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available; a supportive team and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with a Post Primary certification in Computed Tomography; Possess a South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association license.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans and related procedures in the ED setting.
• Maintains equipment and department cleanliness; follows universal precautions.
• Communicates with radiologist to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.
• Initiates patient charging for CT procedures in the EMR and handles documentation.
• Assists in quality control and ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures.
