American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift at a community hospital in Ohio. The role requires 2+ years of adult critical care experience and NBRC RRT credential with license to practice in OH if applicable.

The position involves a 13-week assignment in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit, with 3x12 hour nights, weekend work, no on-call requirements, and potential local rate considerations within 50 miles. Benefits include competitive pay and travel perks.

Qualifications

• NBRC RRT credential with license to practice in OH required if applicable.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Skilled in adult critical care and emergency department settings.
• Experience with airway management, bronchoscopy assisting, and ventilator management required.
• Proficient in BiPAP and CPAP management.
• Skilled in ABG sampling and interpretation.
• Experience in all other modalities of respiratory care required.

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit of a community hospital.
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 1830-0700.
• Weekend work required.
• No on-call requirements.
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
• Black scrubs required for this unit.
• Limited holiday RTO, with only 1 day permitted to be requested surrounding a single holiday.
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered at the local rate.
