American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night-shift position at a university medical center in Columbus, Ohio. This assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week (3x12s), starting January 4, 2027.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, an active Ohio RRT license (CRT accepted), BLS, and ACEN/CCNE-accredited education. Duties include ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and care in adult ICUs and emergency departments.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Active RRT credential (CRT acceptable).
• Current BLS certification.
• Active Ohio RRT license in hand at time of consideration.
• Ability to interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Experience with ventilator management and airway support.

Aufgaben

• Ventilator management including BiPAP, CPAP, and weaning from mechanical ventilation.
• Administer aerosolized and inhaled medications.
• Airway management including extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care.
• Work nights on a 12-hour shift, 3x12s, with 36 hours per week.
