Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a university medical center night shift. Requires 2+ years of experience, active RRT/CRT (not both), and Ohio state licensure.

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Position features 3x12s (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 36 hours/week, weekend shifts, and potential campus floating. OH BCI and FBI fingerprinting are required after offer, with lifetime background checks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• BLS certification required
• CRT or RRT certification required (not both)
• Active Ohio State License required in hand at time of submission
• Education from ACEN/CCNE accredited program
• Ventilator management including BiPAP/CPAP and weaning from ventilation
• Airway management devices including extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
• Medication delivery systems and administration including albuterol and Atrovent
• ABG interpretation proficiency
• Oxygen therapy including HFNC and trach collar

Responsibilities

• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week
• Weekend work required
• Floating between campuses may be required
• Work settings include Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• OH BCI and FBI fingerprinting upon offer
• Lifetime background checks included
• Former employees eligible for travel after 6 months away
• Current employees ineligible to be hired as traveler at this facility
• Two professional references required, at least one from leadership
• RTO must be submitted with application and limited to 7 days or less
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
