Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) seeks a Call Center Specialist for the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline in Downtown Phoenix. The role involves trauma-informed phone interviews, information gathering, and determining if concerns meet statutory criteria for investigation.

Responsibilities include writing clear narratives, data entry, and professional public communications. Some evenings/weekends may be required; comprehensive training is provided.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Responsabilidades

• Screen concerns of alleged child abuse and neglect.
• Conduct focused phone interviews and information gathering.
• Determine if concerns meet statutory criteria as a DCS report for investigation.
• Write narratives and perform data entry before end of shift.
• Respond professionally to public inquiries, free of judgment or bias.
• Use department computer systems and call center applications.
• Input non-abuse correspondence for children in DCS custody.
• Cross-report to law enforcement and other agencies when required.
